A series of April storms provided splendid late-season conditions.

Here I am on the first day of a three-day mushing clinic. I'm told that this is a picture of me discussing ways to tell if your sled dog is the right way up.


Our nephew Jonathan was neatly and cheerfully trapped in a dog house by Corrie. Accomodating visiting relatives is a cinch if you're creative.

We entered the Can-Am Crown 30 this year. A series of snowstorms prior to the race made the trail soft and rather slow this year, despite the best efforts of the dedicated trail crew. This resulted in a tremendous 4th Place finish for our power-oriented dogs--our best finish ever!
